Custom Loading Screen
Adding a custom loading screen like below.
You will need a prrogram that can save Pictures into a .TGA file i use for this Irfan Vieuw. We need to resize our image, and make it 512x512 square. This is going to squish the image, and it will look a little strange.
The game is going to stretch your image to the size of the screen, so it will look okay when the game loads.
After resizing the image (that also can be done with Irfan vieuw) save the image as a .TGA file.
Then download thisLoadingscreen.Mdx and import it to you're warcraft III import manager and change the custom file path of it with LoadingScreen.mdx so it will replace warcraft3/imported/LoadingScreen.mdx . Then import your .TGA picture you want as loading picture and also import it to the import manager in your Warcraft III. then change the .TGA file's name to FullScreen.blp using custom path. Last, inside the World Editor, click on Scenario, Map Loading Screen. Check the button that says Use Imported File,
and select LoadingScreen.mdx
Custom Minimap Image
The image you create must be a TGA format and either 128x128 or 256x256 pixels in size. 128x128 is highly recommended
as this will minimize the overall filesize of your map. What you put in the image is completely up to you, Add names add evrything u want it is your image. I will be using this image down here for this Tutorial.
Inside World Editor, open the Import Manager. Click on File, Import and open the TGA file
that you have created. Then check Costum path from the image and change it to "war3mapPreview.tga" hen start warcraft 3 -> Single player -> Custom game and then u wil get this result.
As u can see the image changed to the image i took. Now u know how to make a custom minimap image.
